About the Business

Sullishak is a charming beach cabin located at 4040 Mina Street in Depoe Bay, Oregon, United States. Originally built in 1947 by Wes and Elsie Sullivan, the cabin is now owned by Dave and Barb Sullivan and is managed as a retreat for their extended families. It can also be rented through Vacasa for a relaxing getaway by the sea.

Over the years, Sullishak has undergone extensive renovations to enhance its functionality and comfort. The kitchen and living room have been remodeled, a new deck has been added, and a new master bedroom and bathroom have been built. Despite these changes, the cabin still retains its rustic charm and character.

Situated just two blocks away from Highway 101 and the beach, Sullishak offers easy access to popular attractions such as Surfrider Inn, Fogarty Creek State Park, Depoe Bay, and Newport to the south, as well as Gleneden Beach, Salishan Lodge, and Lincoln City to the north.

The website for Sullishak is maintained by Dave and Barbara Sullivan, who can be contacted at 541-791-6470 or drdavesullivan@gmail.com. Whether you're looking for a family retreat or a peaceful vacation by the coast, Sullishak is the perfect destination.

"When I first walked in it smelled like urine. The furniture was covered in pet hair. Went into the bedroom and the Bedding and pillows were covered with little black hairs. The bathroom tub didn't drain. The bathtub handle rod was loose and about killed my pregnant wife when it pulled right out of the slot it goes in. The washer and dryer were a nice plus until the dryer took three 3 hour cycles to fully dry anything. The house had two wifis and they tried to sell us on the company named wifi but our family could never get it to work. They finally gave us the other wifi the next day and it worked perfectly. Don't know why they didn't just do that in the first place. Glad I didn't decide to try and work one day from the house. Honestly would have been a 5 star stay if you'd clean your houses better. Easy walk to the beach."
