Rockaway Beach Resort

"This was my wife and myself first time staying at this property. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an amazing staff at the front desk. We were put in a second story room, that has a private bedroom and bathroom. And another full bathroom and very comfortable queen Murphy bed in the living room. Room also had a two burner stovetop, microwave, and full size refrigerator. Kitchen was equipped with everything necessary in mind. Very large living space with couch, fireplace dining table. The room was very clean. It smelled fresh. Bathrooms were very clean as well. Fixtures, floors , etc, were all in good condition. This property may not be the newest .But it is the only one to have a remodeled conference center. Its location is on the beach. Water was footsteps away. This would make a great corporate retreat for worshops. Family gatherings. We are already making arrangements for our next trip here. They currently renovating and updating the rooms. Can not beat the price for what we received. Absolutely great value for our dollar . Thank you to everyone at the RBR for making us so comfortable on our stay."

"Adequate rooms. It's being remodeled so improvement is definitely possible. Was very convenient to have a room with stove, dishwasher, and full fridge. Also appreciate having a bedroom separate from the living area. You currently cannot go on the balconies but the view of the ocean is unobstructed. Really choice location. Pool is small with the deepest point being 5'. Great for kids. I would stay here again but it's nothing to write home about."

"Like a condo experience. Small kitchenette area, fridge, stove top, utensils, cups, plates. Sleeps up to 6. Building is under construction so balcony not usable. Incredible view of the ocean. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Not fancy, but very cozy. Would stay here again."

"The hotel is off a very steep road that goes over train tracks. Not easy for a vehicle with a low lip. The rooms are old and dated. There was carpet missing, a smell, the balconies were closed, dirty around the building, and the structure of building seems to be suffering as the doors are all hard to open or close. The service was great and they did what they could to prevent the booking company doesn't put through the double charge they tried to charge. Being on the beach is the main reason to book this place."

"This was our first time staying at Rockaway beach resort on a last minute trip. LOVED the location. Perfect beach front view and access. They said they would be renovating soon which does need to be done you can tell it's an older place but nothing was bad or in poor condition. We can't wait to come back next summer after the renovations. They only issue we had was there were no locks on the doors to the outside. We have a one year old that wanted to open them are go outside. But otherwise we loved our visit. The pool and hot tub were nice and great for the kids! Can't wait for our next visit!"
