Almost Home Childcare

"I cannot recommend Almost Home Childcare enough. It is an oasis in the desert. After trying two other daycares and touring countless others, this is the first place we found where my son was truly loved and he was not just a number. "Miss Paula," the owner, really loves each child under her care, invests in them, and also hires other childcare staff who feel the same. My son, who has been at this school several years, has really thrived here. The care has also been consistently high quality and I can communicate with the owner about anything. We also appreciate it is part of our neighborhood and our child can receive excellent care, steps from our house, within our own community. My son is well on his way to being "Kindergarten Ready," but what I appreciate most is that this center focuses on Play. They let a child be a child and they make outdoor play a priority."

"Had the pleasure of sending both of my children through Paula's program over the past 5 and a half years. Both kids loved Paula and all their teachers. They both entered kindergarten knowing how to read, use scissors, count well past 20, and follow directions. I never doubted Paula's care or love that she provided to my children, or that of any of the wonderful staff she hired. The kids still love "Miss Paula" and invite her to all their birthday parties! She follows all state guidelines and best practices, district protocols, and good old fashioned common sense. She will prudently send out advisories to all parents for inclement weather, air quality, or anything else going on in her home that would potentially impact our child's day. She also has an open door policy and welcomes parent volunteers, so I have seen her in action first hand. To any parent considering sending their children to Paula, I say don't hesitate. I consider myself and my family so lucky to have had her in our lives during such a developmentally important time in my children's lives. We are forever grateful to Paula and all her staff!"

"By Far the Best Childcare in the Tigard and Metro area. Our children are the happiest at this place. They continue to strive in there learning. They are treated with Love, not just another child in a group. The owner is present at any time and works along side her caregivers holding them all to safe and fun quality care. The environment is all the children. Our children never want to leave when we pick them up. The Love the teachers and Ms. Paula is always there favorite. I would strongly recommend this place for any one needing and nervous about childcare. They have 2 other locations in Tigard and bullmountain areas. All conveniently located. With space and environments safe and all about children's play and interactive learning."
