"I think Avalon Wines gets a lot of things right! Their inside knowledge and access to very hard to find Oregon and Washington wines is almost unparalleled. I am a wine person who happens to live in Pennsylvania. My interest in Oregon pinot has been expanding as my palate has matured from "fruit-bomb" (Cali/Aussie) to a more refined experience. Oregon pinot and old world wines in general are now my core focus. Its great to deal with marcus and Andy, as they bring value in their knowledge and have access to some very hard to get wines. One recommendation -- they definitely need to spend some time improving their social media representation. Most of what I am seeing is quite old (5yrs.) and not representative of the business they have now matured."
