"If you like whiskey/Bourbon, go here. It's a beautiful piece of property, I can't imagine the outside delights during fall and spring. It was a little bit nippy, but they had blankets and heaters and even a solo stove. They had plenty of seating, and it overlooked a small pond and a large farm where they breed studs for the derby. Make sure to check out their events. Not just Whiskey, but I discovered their pepper vodka too. My favorite is the Madeira. That cocktail was perfectly balanced and oh, so delish! Everyone was so welcoming. Bev greets us and made us feel like we belonged. I had such a wonderful time visiting this establishment, and I can't wait to come back when we pull through the area again. Dog friendly= bonus points!!"

"Home of 3 standing Kentucky Derby horses and on the Oregon historic registry this place is a great place to whiskey taste and throw an axe. Seriously an axe. The staff can give you a lesson on axe throwing and after that ask for a tour. You'll learn about all the history that oozes out of this ranch."

"This place is one for the record books. If you're looking for a relaxing place, great people that work there, and how much this place means to Oregon's prohibition as the first ever distillery here in 1837. The other historic event is that this place holds 3 horses that have won the Kentucky Derby, and being all on one ranch is unheard of. They offer a tour and history lesson of the property which includes information about its founder Ewing Young. This was really interesting. The staff are great, the whiskey is top notch, and for some extra added excitement they offer axe throwing. We will be going back for sure and hope it's for the Kentucky Derby party!"

"Worth the drive! The environment will put you in a mindset of pure serenity... and to also have a drink in hand, it's near perfect. We had the opportunity to talk with Bev, co-owner and distiller. Her energy is warm and the spirits she is making is inviting to all. My favorite was their Gin and Rye. Escape the city and make your way to Ewing Young Distillery."
