"Buyer beware! First..it is important to note that this is the first "bad" review I have ever left for any company on any platform. I'm not a chronic complainer. Second... I really wanted to like this company and gave them multiple chances to make the situation mutually workable. In short - I hired them to fix some squeaky floorboards and stretch carpet in a home I was purchasing. The house was empty of all furniture, making the job relatively easy comparatively speaking. In fairness, I was warned that they couldn't guarantee that all squeaky floorboards could be found or that, once fixed, they would never squeak again. That said - I made the incorrect assumption that I was hiring professionals who knew what they were doing. Following completion of the job - there are loose floorboards remaining in the MIDDLE of the bonus room. Additionally, there are loose floorboards AND carpet that was clearly not stretched in the primary bedroom closet. When I asked about these spaces and proposed two potential solutions: 1) have the crew come out again and address the missed areas - or - 2) agree to settle for current payment (50% of the proposed total) and accept the job as "complete" - I was directed to the "contract" and, essentially told - "Pay up and get over it. You knew what you agreed to." I paid. The owner is right. I signed a contract. Naively, I believed people are better than this and stand behind their work. The owner even told me in one of our conversations, before the contract was signed, "I'm not a salesman by nature. I want the best for my customers." This was not my experience. There are too many other options available to warrant taking your chances with this company. Go elsewhere. I hope it saves you a headache. As I said to begin with, leaving negative reviews isn't my style. Neither is feeling ripped off. Happy to answer any other questions."
