"Beautiful market, staff was friendly and attentive. It was giving me Whole Foods vibes but local and family owned. I ordered sandwiches for a large group and were very happy with our focaccia bread ham sandwiches and our mozzarella and tomato sandwiches as well. My favorite though was their pea, sweet pea and onion salad tossed with olive oil and lime juice. It was delicious. I almost ate a whole tub meant for 5 ppl. Wish I would’ve taken a picture."
"We’ve somehow created a more gentrified grocery store than Whole Foods, where their hot food options are legitimately more expensive than going to a sit down restaurant. Killer food, but starvation prices and have a feeling cashiers aren’t paid enough to shop there despite the revenue to pay appropriately."
"Very nice, upscale grocery store. Beautiful meat and cheese sections, a wonderful selection of pre-made foods, and a nice selection of hard-to-find imported foods/drinks. Probably not a store I would buy all my groceries at, but definitely a store when I need an upscale or imported item."
"Small, local grocery store. Friendly staff and a great place for something special. Great seasonal produce, the Oregon Star tomatoes or local peaches in the summer! I often will pick things up here for hostess gifts, birthday flowers,or house warming (Lorenzo Olive Oil #1 or #5 has been a favorite)."
"When we moved to Portland 15 years ago, this was our closest grocery store. We always felt welcomed! I still come here, whenever I go to our old dentist. The selection is amazing, and the staff is lovely, and warm!"
