Friendly Park is a beloved 1.2-acre park situated in the Friendly Neighborhood of Eugene, Oregon. Established in 1953, this park has undergone multiple transformations to become the vibrant community space it is today. Visitors can enjoy a range of amenities including a play structure, swings, slides, a merry-go-round, sand-and-water play area, and more. The park also features native plantings, benches, picnic tables, a drinking fountain, and a bike rack. Volunteers have contributed to the park's upkeep by adding a kiosk with a Little Free Library and stretch equipment. Join our Eugene Outdoors volunteer program to help maintain and enhance this beautiful park, and be a part of improving the quality of life in our city.

"This is a great place. Except for this summer. There have been consistently 30+ bees near the water/sand pit and kids are getting stung. I wonder when something will be done to protect our children."
"Friendly Park was awesome it was clean of garbage or anything else that shouldn't be at a park for children. My kids loved the giant slide and the swings. The other children and parents who showed up when we were there were also friendly and polite. It was only our 2nd time there but we will be coming back again for sure!"
