About the Business

Maurie Jacobs Park, located at 169 Fir Lane in Eugene, Oregon, is part of the crown jewel of riverfront parks in the area. This park offers stunning views of the river and features expansive turf that is perfect for soccer, ultimate Frisbee, and other field games. It is also a great spot for a picnic, with a small play area, comfortable plaza, and plenty of picnic tables and benches, many of which are shaded by large trees.

The Greenway Bridge at Maurie Jacobs Park serves as the zero base mile marker for the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path system, providing easy access for pedestrians from the South and West Bank paths to the North and East Bank paths.

Visitors can also get involved with the Volunteer Program at Maurie Jacobs Park, where they can learn new skills, meet new people, and help improve the quality of life in Eugene by caring for the parks and open spaces in the area. Come visit Maurie Jacobs Park and enjoy all it has to offer!

"Pretty park with room for kids to run around and play. Bridge crosses river and gives you access to mall shopping. Bench on bridge to enjoy the river. Dogs allowed"

"Stay on the bike path & do not go down the trails that lead toward the river. There were used needles lying on the ground by the river Bank & garbage everywhere & not to mention broken glass in almost every place you walked that wasn't on the bike path. Then there's the issue of poison oak, which is everywhere along the riverbank. The City needs to clean this place up, but it's good for walking or biking on the path."
