"Swings have been removed, play structure is not age appropriate (designed for older kids, never seen any at this park). Confusingly hilarious items like the swinging chain seat 1 foot off the ground are entertaining for my daughters age 1 and 4. We call it the silly swing. As is the twisty tongue, a bizarre blue thing that you are supposed to climb up, or maybe slide down…very unclear. Primary draw is the open space and potential to see deer at dusk, as well as the fact that it’s a semi-walkable distance from our house. Playground itself needs a makeover. Do better, Eugene."
"Nice park with an easy trail for a nice stroll, but unfortunately sometimes people come with their dogs running loose. They are too privileged to follow the rules, so people like me who do follow the rules have to leave to avoid confrontation between our dogs. Too bad some people have to ruin it for everyone."
"Hidden away, in a safe peaceful neighborhood, is a sweet little park. Great for a quick walk, any time of day. Also good for tossing a ball or frisbee around. There is a playground for the kids, a few benches for the parents, No restrooms. Dog friendly."
"This is one of the most beautiful park neighborhood parks in Eugene! The large grassy field is perfect to toss a Frisbee or boomerang. There's a small but nice play structure and benches along the walking paths that surround the park. There's also mint growing throughout the park and it smells fantastic!"
