"Good haircut… horrible haircut experience! First off, the guy who cut my hair didn’t speak English. So what I wanted had to be translated through the other barber, which normally wouldn’t have been a problem… but the “translator” left for his lunch so I couldn’t talk to my barber the duration of my cut. Next, my barber cut and trimmed my mustache without asking. He was so fast too! He was cutting the left side of my head and out of nowhere, grabbed a small set of clippers and started reshaping my mustache. Hated it! Both the fact that he cut it and also how it looked. Lastly, he used a razor/straight blade on my cheeks and forehead as well as a foil razor on the front of my neck. Foil razors are great for the back of your neck for a close shave, but absolutely tore up the front neck! Using the straight blade was done completely dry which caused horrible razor burn on my whole face. At the end of the haircut, he put some paste/cream all over my face which caused it to go on FIRE! When I got home, I looked like a freaking strawberry I was so red and bumpy with razor burn… just wanted a haircut. Again, the haircut wasn’t bad. Actually the best fade I’ve ever had. He cut the top of my head way too short (if only I could communicate with him to tell him how I wanted it). He didn’t ask to see how much I wanted off the top. But it didn’t look bad. Experience was awful! First time ever not tipping for a haircut"

"Miguel has been cutting my hair for the last two years, I don’t trust any other barber shop to cut my hair. I trust Miguel in his expertise and could not recommended him enough. The shop is super clean and a chill environment, which is very welcoming and conveniently located with plenty of parking. Hands down the best barber shop in Lane County!"

"Miguel is hands down the best barber I’ve ever been to. I have scars on my head from a bad car accident and it usually intimidates other barbers; but mot Miguel… Miguel just takes it in stride and actually incorporates the scars into his brilliant free hand designs. I try to go to a different barber in every state I travel to, so having been to almost 42 different states, I can say that Miguel has the sharpest eye and gives the best bald fades I’ve ever seen. In addition, the studio itself is badass. There is a “secret” Prohibition style room where you can grab a drink and play darts under the watchful eye of the Frida Kahlo mural. Not only is Miguel an amazing barber but he is an all around good guy and I always look forward to my monthly appointments with him. ** he also always squeezes me in when I need a clean-up/line up in between my regular cuts."
