Darkside Window Tint & Paint Protection

"Update 2.5 weeks later: deleting original post because I cover it in this. Tint looked great to start off with (no ripples, wrinkles, big bubbles, cut pretty well) but there is dust trapped under the tint EVERYWHERE. A little bit here and there is fine and unavoidable, but I’m talking large patches like the one in the picture, and scattered across ALL windows (windshield, front, sides, rear). Not acceptable at all for a $500 job (after discount, too). They had my car for a whole week. They didn’t have the % tint I wanted initially so re-applied the front windows halfway through the week (Ironically, the best looking windows). Still, a week is plenty of time for ensuring that the windows are clean before applying the tint. And no, it’s not headliner dust or a dirty car. It’s a new car that had under 400 miles on it when dropped off. I’ve tried reaching out to Jose, the gentlemen who installed my tint, several times to see if we can find a resolution (whether that includes new tint or even just a refund at this point), to no avail. I’m really bummed out because I liked the guys at the shop and they were very nice and helpful from the start, but it seems that after producing shoddy work, I’m left on my own. I hope that Jose and his team see my experience as an opportunity to improve the quality of their work and post-service customer experience. Will be taking my car elsewhere for tint removal and application."
