"Absolutely awful service experience. All I needed was rear brakes replaced. Was quoted $500-$600 per set (front and rear) of rotor and pad replacement twice over the phone. Once inspected, the technician in the inspection video was difficult to understand, I was quoted well over the $500-600, the brakes would have cost $2500 and was told I needed new rear calipers at only 49k miles based on the technician not knowing what some uneven wear was caused by. I took my whole day to come down to Mazda and was willing to pay extra for dealer service and got screwed with recommendations of things my car didn't need, price gauging, and left there with a quote for $5k of needed items in a car with no problems other than needing new rear brake pads and rotors. Mazda staff seemed unconcerned with me the entire time or the fact that they were selling me services I didn't need. I took my car straight to Meineke and they confirmed my car didn't need what Mazda quoted me for and replaced my brakes for less than half the cost of Mazdas brake quote. Saved me $4,000 avoiding Mazda service. I totally understand now that's how the dealerships make their money. I absolutely love my Mazda car, but I will not be returning for service."

"Bought a brand new 2021 Mazda 3 hatchback back in 2021. After 4,000 miles low engine light would come on from the very begging of ownership. The technicians and management said that there was a shortage on a certain part during engine production so they used some part off a diesel engine that wasn’t a right match. After many complaints they “fixed” the issue but the problem with oil consumption still persisted. Now they don’t know what else to do and my warranty is running out so now I’ll be stuck with a bad car and it doesn’t look like they want to make this right. Spoke with 2 managers Tim Vargas (who’s unfortunately does not work there anymore) and spoke with the new young manager Juan Chapa yesterday who looked at me and said that there’s nothing he can do and gave me the customer service number (WHAT A GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE). Now it’s 2024 and I still have the same issue… CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT GOOD AT ALL. They keep delaying the issue and I feel like when the warranty runs out they are just going to leave me in a dust. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THAT DEALERSHIP AT ALL. THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU AFTER YOU BUY A CAR THERE. IF THERE WAS AN OPTION FOR 0/10 I WOULD GIVE THEM 0."

"Very bad service! Never bring your vehicle to The mechanic Dominic he gave my mother a really hard time regarding insurance and wanted her to pay out of pocket and not thru insurance. Wich was a lie she has always paid for full coverage because they take care of everything when it comes to fixing vehicles. And Dominic refused to help her and mom wrote to corporate headquarters they said Dominic was wrong and now they r helping her fix car and it's thru insurance. And now because the Mechanic refused to fix her car until she contacted corporate it has been 1 week with no car she is elderly and needs her car to get around daily errands etc.. Now it is being worked on but could have been fixed a week ago. I recommend NEVER GO TO RON TONKIN MAZDA."

"I have decided I will not buy my next vehicle here. They don't listen and they sure as he'll don't know how to make a deal. I mean I'm a customer and I'm trading my vehicle in. But their offer for my Honda is outright offensive. Rather than correcting the issue they just kept asking me if I thought about their offer. Why would I do that. I was clear on exactly what I want. So I take that as you will not be selling me a car."

"I prefer to take my car to the dealer for maintenance so I know the person changing my oil is certified to work on my car. You can wait in line at a fast oil change place, but the price is nearly the same and you get whatever part they have, not a part certified for you car. I prefer having an appt so I can get in and out and feel confident it's done right. They also video the inspection so you can see the underside of the car and what they are saying about the work. Got an inspection, tires rotated and oil changed for very close to what it ends up costing at fast change places. Abby was very friendly, car was in and out, price was as quoted, tech was clear on what was needed and rexted me with status and any question. Could not be happier."
