"I've been here a few times with my boyfriend. The first time we went, it was busy, but we got seated within 10 minutes. But then waited almost 30 minutes to receive our food after ordering. I understand when a restaurant is busy, but our server passed by us with food for people who had been seated after us. I've had a couple of things off the menu, and most everything is bland and cold. The most recent time we went, we waited over 30 minutes to get our food. I got my food before my boyfriend. He had ordered pancakes and bacon. I had finished my food before he had even gotten his (we we're in a hurry). When he finally got his food, it was cold. I'm kind of upset with the service and the lack of flavor in their food."
"Food, service and timeliness are ALWAYS stellar here. Everyone is friendly and you are seated quickly with always the offer to refill your coffee. Food is fresh and portions are great. Wonderful breakfast spot in Milwaukie/Oak Grove/Gladstone area :). My only critique is price, $80+ for breakfast with a family of 4, but is the sign of the times vs. the fault of the restaurant, IMO."
"Absolutely Fantastic! I got the Chorizo omelet, Loaded Red Potatoes, and Biscuits, and my lady got the Fruit and Nut Oatmeal. The Chorizo in the omelet was so good I found myself scraping my plate and wanting even more, even with a very full stomach. The Red Potatoes were fried up, covered in cheese, and green onions with a light sour cream drizzle good crisp to the outside with a fluffy bite to the inside. The Biscuits were so light and fluffy I can honestly see why this wonderful diner has its namesake! Portion size is enough to feed two people on both dishes! Definitely will be coming back with a crowd!"
