"Most of the cashiers & staff are friendly! However, the management is unprofessional, rude, and shouldn't be in charge! She retaliates for going to corporate even though it's against the law! She also gossips about the employees to the other co workers and it gets back to the employees by customers. If an employee, god forbids makes a mistake when they are new, she will scream at them in front of customers in their line and infront co workers! There are MANY complaints against her. Don't understand why she is running a store when corporate knows about this! I wouldn't shop there but it's less expensive than Ray's and we don't have much options! Will be calling corporate again and again to complain about the store manager. Edit- after talking to HR Linda & complaining how it was retaliation, her & corporate trespassed us from the store! I can't believe they really think the behavior from this store management is okay! Only store in town that sells my sons formula & they won't lift it but I'll never step foot in another mckays, which is too bad because I did spend a lot of money in there. I hope others see this too & stop shopping there! & if you work there, DONT GO TO HR! She will have you fired same day! & won't tell you the reason! She is obviously biased for the management & not the employees! Head guys won't even call me back after several attempts. Which is very unprofessional."

"McKay's Market is a good option for grocery shopping in Gold Beach, Oregon, especially if you're looking for affordable prices. While both Rays Grocery and McKay's Market are employee-owned, McKay's is known for being the more budget-friendly option. Here are some of the highlights of McKay's Market: Locally sourced products: They offer Double R Ranch beef, which is a local favorite. Moderately priced produce and dairy: They carry dairy products from Umpqua and Tillamook. Convenient location: If you're staying in Gold Beach, this is the closest grocery store. Keep in mind that both Rays and McKay's struggle to maintain the same pricing structure as larger towns due to the area's remoteness. However, McKay's is generally considered the more affordable option, especially for locals."

"Horrible manager. She seeked out my son in law to hire him and then treated him Horrible. He was still in training and made a mistake and she chewed him out at the register in front of everyone. The other cashiers said they had made the same mistake and tried to help him fix it. He then made another mistake that he wasn't trained to do and spread it to the other cashiers on his days off. I had a coworker that had heard it and told me. He then calls HR about hippa violation and gets fired and trespassed. This is the only place that sells my grandsons formula so what are they to do now? Shame shame on the manager and the corporate office. I have heard lots of comments on the way she treats her employees. I will never shop that store again!!!!!"
