"In the middle of a long bike tour to raise awareness for distracted driving, I stopped in at South Coast Bicycles to get a creaking noise looked at. Jeff stopped what he was doing and meticulously looked at all possible causes of the problem and eventually identified a crack in my derailleur hanger. This not only helped me with the creak, but Jeff’s attention to detail helped prevent a potentially catastrophic situation while riding. It’s not easy to run a business like this on your own, but Jeff does it all with a smile and cares deeply about his customers and getting things done correctly and thoroughly. I will never forget the help that Jeff gave me on this trip!"
