"Returning trip from California. Ended up losing 2wd. Let's just say the problem was in the transfer case. Long story short. The guys at Keizer Transmission are great. Took my truck into them Monday morning. Thinking I would set up an appointment with them. They were able to get it in that day. Within hours had me back on the road. These guys are great. Knowledgeable, professional and really nice to work with. Thank you for the great service. Definitely will recommend them to everyone in need of this type of repair."

"Two generations have had service here over the years. Always solid service. The only place in my opinion to have transmission work done."

"Dan is the only transmission shop in Salem that gave me an accurate diagnosis and didn't try and take me for a (rebuild) ride. Thank you Dan for your time and your honesty! I will be back!"

"Ted was honest and he fixed my transmission issue on an older Jeep Wrangler for a nominal fee ('02 Wrangler Sport with 4LTR Auto transmission). He made time for me and scheduled a "ride along" to begin the assessment process. During the ride along, he identified that 2nd gear was not engaging.. and he said it could be one of a couple of things: 1) most likely, it would need a rebuild... based upon the 145,000 miles; or 2) less likely but possible, the "bands" just needed adjustment. I left the Jeep with him on a Friday morning and got a call from him within a couple of hours with the good news: all the rig needed was the band adjustment (which he did while he had it on the rack). He said it was ready to pick up! After taking possession, I found that the Jeep runs and shifts better than it has in a long time. Wow!!! It is so refreshing to deal with an honest, trustworthy mechanic... especially in the field of automatic transmission service. I whole heartedly recommed Ted and Keizer Transmission to all who need transmission service in the greater Salem/Keizer area! J Cate (As a footnote, I initially took the Jeep to two different (highly rated) transmission shops here in Salem. One put the rig on a rack and kept it most of an afternoon and overnight. He said it needed a rebuild which cost around $3,800. Without looking at it, one wanted to put me on a work schedule and gave an estimate of $3,700 for a rebuild but I would have to wait for 3wks before they could get to it!)"

"These guys did great work to get my truck back on the road. Replacing a transmission is hard financially but I can confidently recommend their work. Great to know they cared about my truck as much as I do."
