"The employees are nice enough. But I agree with some of these folks. The prices are way too high for used items that were donated. They were asking thirty dollars for a not so gently used teflon coated frying pan. I understand the money is going for a good cause. But many of the items that they are selling are priced at what you would be paying for something brand new."

"One of the last times I went here, two of the employees who worked there, probably don't anymore, gave me rude stares. I asked one of the managers to look at a pair of shorts that I ended up buying, and I said thank you. He didn't reply, just stared at me as if it were ridiculous that he should even have to deal with me. I mentioned something about the book I was buying to the employee at checkout, they just said ', whatever, have a good one,' in the rudest voice humanly possible. I guess I never have to come back."

"I agree with people complaining about the price of items. This is a thrift store; not Poshmark, not Buffalo Exchange, or some other bougie place. This place should be for those who cannot afford such places or platforms. It used to be such a place but sadly, it is no longer. In fact, some of the bougie platforms and stores mentioned in this post have higher quality items for a much lower or on par price to that of St. Vincent De Paul thrift stores. I suspect that they keep pricing up because they don't want bougie customers buying and upselling thier items. This is a terrible reason for marking up prices. First, it leaves merchandise innaccessible for a sector of our population that St. Vincent's claims to serve. Second, it's not a convincing reason to mark up prices. So what if someone takes it and upsales? St Vincent's will still get their money and they might actually move product through. And the same goes for "Good"will. SMH."

"Walked over 45 mins in the rain with my backpack to buy clothes and I walked in to see signs saying absolutely no large bags in the store, and no bag check. I spoke to an employee asking him to pass it up the chain that there should at least be a notice posted on the website to let people know before they come to the store with a backpack. That employee went to go get manager Eric V. who I asked if there was a notice posted on the website. He then walked over to the sign posted in the store and begun sarcastically reading it out loud. Not sure what was so unreasonable about a warning. Pedestrians who use backpacks to carry their things should beware, at the very least to avoid Eric V."
