"I interacted with this horrible place in 2020. If you don't fit into their click, they do not treat you with human decency. This is a place that offers the wrong kind of pride. This is a place that takes pride in who they are and not what they do. This is a place that filters out people that need this service more than most. That would be something this place is good at, if you think that makes them good at what they do. Dr. Steve Canon is a despicable human being! I was in sever pain and asked Dr. Steve Canon to help me, he refused. His reasoning, "I don't know who you are!" I let him know that he was in network with Delta Dental and that he would need to explain that to Delta Dental as to why he is refusing me service. About a week later a different dentist at South Coast Dental started the root canal / crown process. Dr. Steve Canon never spoke to me again. The doctor that completed the root canal and crown is no longer with South Coast Dental but she didn't cord the tooth properly. Within a year a different dentist explained that the tooth South Coast Dental worked on was not done well and would need to be redone. I have always had an extremely hard time going in for dental procedures because of my irrational fear and anxiety of having my teeth worked on. DR Cannon makes the whole process completely painless and he gets things done very quickly. He has the best bed side manner I have ever encountered in any medical setting. I’m also super impressed with the assistant that helped during my procedure (sorry I don’t remember her name). If you are looking for a great place to get dental work done on the Oregon coast then look no further, this is the place!
