"Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had running a car. I travel all the time for work and rent cars most of the time. Budget, shorted my booking by four days and told me I had to take it up with Expedia. Expedia told me I have to talk to budget and around and around we go. Do yourself a favor don’t ever book with budget, no accountability no nothing"

"All the staff I encountered, both by phone and in person were great. Very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. The vehicle choice was good and vehicle was clean."

"The vehicle I received was great and perfect for what I needed. The staff when I picked up the vehicle was helpful and friendly. However when severe weather caused me to cancel portions of my trip and return early, I was NOT assisted at all and ended up paying for a rental for additional days I did not need it. I was furious and no one would help. I was even told I would actually pay more to change drop off locations! It was ridiculous. Their policy was NOT clearly stated and in my opinion they didn’t honor their policy. I will never rent from budget again simply because of the inflexibility and assistance at the end."

"Reservation went smoothly at check in. Decent prices. Clean car. Apple or Android car play had been obviously disabled which was inconvenient. When traveling one would like the option to use maps on the screen. Enabling this feature would have been most helpful."

"I thought all had gone well with our Budget rental at the Eugene airport at the end of August 2023. Despite negative reviews on Google, I booked a 1 week rental of a RAV4 when our truck was in the shop for a transmission replacement. The car we received was in good shape and we had no issues with it. Returned it in perfect shape, we were told all was well, and I thought that was it. Today, going through my credit card statement from October, I found two unexpected charges: one for over $600 on Oct. 8 and another for $284 on Oct. 23. I called Budget customer service and found out we had been charged for a broken windshield replacement and calibration. Fortunately, I had taken a video when I turned in the car, showing all sides and angles, including the windshield. I must note that the customer service representative was fantastic. While on the phone, I sent my documentation of the car's condition upon being turned in, and the rep immediately processed a full refund. However, it is beyond disappointing that the Eugene airport Budget employees are trying to take advantage of customers in this way and I will not be renting from them again. I will also let all my family in Eugene know to warn friends and family & potential visitors. If you do rent from them and accept the risk, I highly recommend documenting everything upon return (condition, gas, mileage, etc.) in case something like this happens to you."
