"Nice place for a bite and pint, nice bar menu and lots of seating. Recommend for breakfast, Elmers had a 15+ min wait on a Saturday morning and walked right in and seated. Been coming here often and on since 2018."

"Irish stew really hit the spot! Great, large portions at a really reasonable price, hoping to return soon! Only reason for the ding on atmosphere was the bathrooms, definitely a creepy vibe and overflowing trash."

"I came to JB Obrien’s for dinner with my mom. The atmosphere was so comfortable, cozy and dimly lit. Sarah was our waitress and she was as sweet as can be! She took our order and had everything out to us swiftly! I ordered the BBQ Chicken sandwich and it was outstanding! The portions were bigger than I was expecting. I WILL be back here again very very soon! My only regret it not coming in here sooner."

"We were on our anniversary trip, and I asked a local restaurant they would suggest for our anniversary that had good food and this was their suggestion. I have to say when we first showed up I was incredibly confused because it looked like it was just a bar. However we did decide to go in and though there were about 10 tables or so the atmosphere and vibe still totally felt like a bar. It was very low lighting and definitely a place where you didn't need to worry about your volume very much. We ultimately decided we would stay after looking at the menu, which we actually needed a flashlight for lol. Then after a few minutes my husband and I realized that the vibe worked perfect for us because we are actually allowed people. And it felt nice to be able to laugh and be ourselves without having to worry about making sure we were quiet enough for a restaurant atmosphere. Then the food came!! I have to say the Irish specialty items were spot on. My husband ordered a Reuben with house thousand island and it was phenomenal and it was served with these delicious beer battered fries. I had the Irish stew that came in a sourdough bread bowl. And they both tasted like something that came from an Irish Grandma's kitchen. We decided we will definitely be coming back for another date night in the future, to try the bangers and mash and the shepherd's pie which other customers there had rave reviews on!!! The only couple negative things I could say is ( at least in the evening ) definitely not a place to bring young children and be prepared for low lighting which made it difficult to read the menu without my phone flashlight."
