About the Business

McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse is a historic institution located in Hillsboro, Oregon. Situated on six acres of former pioneer farm country, this tree-filled oasis offers a unique blend of good food, handcrafted drinks, and lively entertainment. The original farmhouse and outbuildings date back to the mid-1850s, adding to the charm and character of the venue.

Guests are encouraged to arrive by bike and can take advantage of the bicycle parking outside. The institution is also pet-friendly, with designated areas for leashed pets on the sidewalk and outdoor patio. The wildlife at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse adds to the natural beauty of the surroundings, with foxes, deer, elk, and owls once common sights on the property.

For those looking to take their favorite brews home, the Crowler® offers a convenient and portable option. Filled and sealed right at the bar, the Crowler® keeps beer fresher longer and can last up to six months. Prices vary depending on the selection, with McMenamins Ales, Edgefield Ciders, and guest beers and ciders all available in Crowler® format.

Whether you're looking to enjoy a pint or two in the outdoor seating areas, explore the historic buildings, or simply relax and take in the natural surroundings, McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse offers a unique and memorable experience for all visitors.

"This place is more for beer than food. The service is super slow. I have been here a couple times and always had to wait for minimum 30 minutes until I receive my food order. I don’t think sandwiches should take this long! Yesterday I got The 19th hole sandwich and the bacon was very hard. When I took my first bite, I thought it was some hard nut but then when I opened the sandwich, there was this very hard piece of bacon! I love their beers but food always sucks! Their prices are also slightly high for the quality of food. Roasted bell pepper soup is very very thick. I have had their clam chowder which was decent so thought of trying a new soup and ordered the wrong thing (roasted bell pepper and tomato soup ) this time. I would say, this place is good for a casual beer and fries but not for enjoying the dinner"

"A beautiful, hidden gem wedding venue! I loved photographing a recent fall wedding here. It has beautiful landscaping for formal portraits, a great indoor ceremony area, and of courses amazing food for the reception. I'd love to photograph more weddings here."
