"I tried to exchange a pair of jeans I ordered online at sale price and they wouldn’t reorder at the sale price and claimed that my size “29” is in unopened packages in the back, had to pay an extra $50 for the same jeans online and it will be my last from Madewell."

"Went to this location to find different denim. My millennial self needed to move away from the skinny jeans into something more comfortable but cute. I went in to the stores and felt overwhelmed by all the options but Alaina came to my rescue! She helped me find jeans and tops to pair with it to be more on trend but still age appropriate. I left with a great "starter" pack to revamp my wardrobe. The clothes made me feel more confident, secure in my body, and trendy. Thank you so much Alaina!!"

"Wouldn’t recommend jeans for girls with thigh rub, my last 3 pairs lasted less then a year (I’d expect more when I spend over 100 for jeans). Also Madewell is doing third party sales in website, and has chosen not to support returns through them - so you have to contact another party - without a phone number. Overall not the experience I’d expect from a brand called Madewell."

"Shopping for jeans is my nightmare but I stopped in without a lot of time hoping to get lucky. The salesperson Lennon was fantastic! Realistic, not pushy, good at sizing, listened to what I wanted but still gave me things to try I hadn’t considered. I am a super picky shopper but I ended up with two different pairs I love, one familiar and one outside my box—in about 20 minutes. Lennon, you’re my hero."

"I often have struggled at Madewell to find jeans in my size I’m always told to go online or they can order them to the store. In this particular location they we’re incredibly fatphobic and acted as though they had really never even sold a size 16 pair of pants. They Said they did not have any size 16s in the store in the wash that I desired. I looked around and was able to find two pairs myself without any help. When I went to try them on they asked me if I was familiar with their jeans…I said I was and I in fact was waring a pair. then she whispered I just wanted you to know they stretch. I am very aware of how jeans work and I know what fits my body. I have accepted the way my body looks but in this store they made me feel like I was the problem not their jean selection. They really need to learn how to accept all bodies at this store and be open about speaking with and helping midsize women. I think the company itself doesn’t really want midsize women in their stores but in this day in age I felt very judged and demeaned by several staff members over jeans…"
