"Body shaming is real - your external advertising states something for every body. Maybe educate your rude staff to not look a person up and down 5 times when asking about plus size fashion? I have money to spend; “You work on Commission, Right?.Big Mistake!”,Julia Robert’s, Pretty Woman. Visited Bridgeport location at 11:00AM, 8/23/2022. Check your schedule for rude and biased sales people. Shame on you."

"Went in to the store to purchase clothes for my mom. Both of the women working were having issues working the cash register. I slid my card and it said approved, the money was taken out of my bank account. Because it didn’t print a receipt on their side, they wanted to re-run the transaction and told me I should be refunded soon for the double charge? I told them I would come back another time."

"This store is hit and miss in quality of merchandise. Some fabrics are really outstanding but overall I think their prices are too high because their clothes are trendy, not classic. Although I'm pleased with my particular purchase because it's exactly what I needed to complete another outfit, I don't expect it will hold up for more than one season."

"GOOD CLOTHES -- BAD BUSINESS! And I see I'm not the only one! Tried to return a piece that was defective for which my wife had paid full price using a JJill credit card. They would only refund the rock-bottom sale price, about half what was paid. This might be defensible if it were charged on another card, but don't tell me the company doesn't have a full and accessible record of what was actually paid on its own card. We were so mad, I took out my pocket knife and cut up the JJill card right at the register."

"I am a long-time customer of JJill but, my latest transaction will be my last. Placed an order (two shirts) on the phone with this store and was charged for them accordingly. Received duplicate of one item and not the other. After run-around on the phone, was told they would ship the item that I never received. However, shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail indicating that they would be billing me again for that shirt. Had to call again to ask that they not bill me twice. Further, I was told that I must return the item that they sent in error with US mail. This shirt does not fit in my mailbox so the letter carrier is not required to pick it up at my home which forces me to go to post office during the holidays. I checked with the FTC- under law I can request that they pick up the item. I have done so twice and was told that they have no system to do that and it must be mailed. Viewers- please note the date of this complaint. Would you go to the post office two weeks before Christmas to return un-ordered merchandise? Seems very unreasonable of JJill. Buyer beware of JJill."
