Shari's Cafe and Pies

"Rashell was amazing! We prefer coming to this Shari’s even though it’s further from us and there is a closer one down the street. Why? This one feels cozier and we really like that it hasn’t been updated for awhile. It still holds character and history. Back in the day vibes- we like that. The staff, friendly and thoughtful. Food is always on point. Even when they are short staffed, they get things done. Thanks Rashell! I’ll give her 10 stars if I could. She deserves a raise!"

"It was my favorite restaurant to visit with my family for 10 years. The last 3 times that I visited the place, we noted that the waiters are annoyed to attend us. I was thinking that maybe they were tired, but finally, I understand that they are racist. Today, I paid, I went to the restroom with my kids, we got the boxes with remaining food and when we were leaving the restaurant a different waiter who wasn't attending us ran to us behind to the bar and she yelled me in front of the customers if I had paid? I could understand that the spirit of the waiters staff is racist. Before I saw some Latin families there, but now apparently only we were visiting the place, I could understand the reason. If you're latin don't take your food inside, they are uncomfortable attending our community."

"It's a clean modern take on the quintessential American diner. The wait-staff was friendly, informative, and attentive. The food was excellent. The coffee was standard-diner but I had no trouble finishing my 2nd cup. We didn't even get to the desserts. Next time I'm ordering pie and coffee first!"

"Ordered online, food came out almost 15 minutes after the provided pick up time. Customer service and atmosphere in general was dismal.. at best. Awhile after I got there to pick up the order they informed me that they did not have some of the items we ordered and offered a substitute (probably why I had to wait an extra 15 minutes). Frustrating because they clearly had my contact information from the online order and could have reached out at anytime They also gave me Gluten-free pancakes instead of the butter milk ones I ordered with my eggs and sausage patty so one meal in the order pretty much went into the trash. Safe to say, we will not be back or recommend."

"I don’t know about most of their food. However, judging by the biscuits and gravy I just ordered today, I don’t think I will ever be eating anything else from Sharis, other than the pie! The biscuits and gravy is hands down the WORST tasting biscuits and gravy I have EVER tasted. EVER. And I’ve eaten said dish at NUMEROUS restaurants as well as at home. Carls Jr., Biscuits cafe, and Dottys to name a few. My favorite, by the way, is Carls Jr. .. At Sharis, For about $4.50, you get one fat, pretty dry biscuit that has cheddar cheese bits baked into it, “smothered”- or rather “ drizzled” with … “gravy”? Not sure- definitely didn’t taste anything close to sausage flavor so I’m quite uncertain what the dark little bits are throughout the incredibly bland gravy. Overall, this breakfast had a very questionable taste; a taste that I cannot for the life of me put into words. Simply foreign to my tastebuds and one that I prefer never to taste again. If it weren’t for the pie that I bought along with this, I would be starving right now because I could not muster up the courage to take more than about three bites. Absolutely terrible!"
