"I can’t believe all the good reviews I saw before walking in here. We had originally stopped at Chan’s and their prices were double what was written on Google, so we went to Yan's down the street. We should have skipped both! We ordered food to go tonight. As a volunteer reviewer, I take this job seriously, so I’m going to tell it like it is. This was the worst food experience my friend and I have EVER had. The food we received was not the food that was on the menu and we were overcharged. We thought we got a lot of food as it was really heavy, but in the car it smelled bad. Clearly a health inspection is needed here, as the oil smelled liked it hadn’t been changed in a month. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp, which on the menu comes with pea pods and other vegetables. It was listed at $14.50 on the menu. What I received was a bunch of rubbery fried shrimp that smelled like fishy chicken. Absolutely disgusting. The heaviness in the bag came from a pint of sweet and sour sauce and no vegetables. It cost $17.95, and we ended up having to throw it away. My friend was really upset spending $41 for a bunch of food that was really bad. This restaurant needs an inspection pronto!"
"Tasty, delicious, old school Chinese cuisine. I feel like I went to this place 20 years ago and it was exactly the same as I remember. If you like old school (americanized of course) Chinese food this is the place for you. It has all the classic dishes you'd expect and is remarkably consistent. Good service, quiet spot. The interior looks like it's from the 1980s, but that's usually an indicator of good Chinese food anyway. Check this place out."
"The manager/owner should never take to go orders on the phone. She is extremely rude and aggressive, we have been customers there for several years, and I will never go back again because of her. I called to let her know I would not be returning because of how rude she was, and she said she doesn’t care. Good luck staying in business when customer service is just as important as food"
"An anonymous person paid for our dinner and left a generous tip. Don't know why or who. I can't hardly believe that happened but it did! McMinnville has very nice people that live there. That's what I figure."
"Had 7 people over for dinner, ordered several items for takeout. The gal that took the order was extremely helpful in that we had nut and seafood allergies to contend with. Food was raved about, was hot and delicious! Would highly recommend."
