"Such a lovely tea house and perfectly located! Easy to get to from TV Highway, but still tucked charmingly away. The tea selection is fantastic, and the food is delicious, fresh, and obviously crafted with care. The decor is exquisite. I highly recommend!!"

"This is an absolute gem of an afternoon tea place. Hans is a TREASURE, and out of all the tea places, this is the 10/10 MONTHLY go-to for us. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is incredibly elegant and thoughtful, the dishware is beautiful, and the service is top-notch. I don't know how lucky we were to find Skywater, but if Hans' commitment to quality is any indication, we will blindly follow any future endeavors he might take on (hint, a little birdie has told us there's eventual plans for a Filipino-style restaurant, which is SO exciting). Don't sleep on this location. If you think you've had good afternoon tea, just wait until you've had AMAZING afternoon tea!"

"UPDATE: We revisited Skywater for a summer birthday celebration. We were treated to such a beautiful service of tea and summery treats. We love the service and the atmosphere. This is a place we enjoy for any celebration. The chocolate clotted cream was exceptional! Our first visit to this lovely Tea House will not be our last. The atmosphere was light and elegant as were the bites. Everything was fresh and delicious. The teas are definitely the star here. I want to try them all eventually. If I could offer any suggestion, it would be to provide a short description on the menu of the teas offered. The Bao Zhong is a delicious oolong; the cinnamon plum was also tasty."

"I had a lovely experience and their price is quite reasonable compared to the other afternoon tea service in the portland area. They were able to accommodate our party of 6 for a reservation happening within 48hrs. Note: they respond much quickly by email however they did call back within 24hrs. The best part was getting to smell all the teas at the entrance. It definitely helped everyone pick out the right tea. They were also kind enough to replace a tea if we didn't truly enjoy it since we are committed to one flavor throughout the experience. Since we could smell them first we were all happy with our choices. Refreshment were quite filling and delicious. Parking is easy. Hans was friendly. I definitely plan to come back. Note: menu is set, so not accommodating to dietary restrictions but it does take the pressure off from deciding what to order."

"The afternoon tea at Skywater Tea House is complete perfection! The owner, Hans, treated our party with outstanding service including pouring each persons first cup of tea, arranging the table to fit all meal dishes, and providing a complimentary cup of tea while we perused the tea menu for our tea choices. The decor and interior environment was elegant and tasteful. The tea was brewed perfectly and we were even given options to switch our teas out if we did not enjoy the first sip. The sandwiches, scones, treats and fruit were all prepared to utter perfection and displayed to an extremely high standard. My friends and I were certainly be back - despite the hour drive!"
