"I ordered a mocha and vegan chili. Both were great. The chili really stood out. Whole black beans, slightly sweet, slightly spicy. Wonderful blend of flavors. 100% recommended. Will be back!"

"Good atmosphere, nice outdoor area. Unfortunately not a 5 star experience on my first time. Note that several menu items are not available late in the day. Scone was very dense with a cake like texture and I think it was under baked. Perhaps if they had offered to heat it, it might have been better. The coffee is good so I'll give them one more try sometime."

"Came here for a breakfast date and they delivered! Fresh cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches. Yum! They have a pager system for picking up your stuff. At first we didn’t see the paper menu, just the stuff in the glass case, so make sure to ask for the paper menu. Staff is really kind and decor is modern."

"As long-time fans of the coffee cottage, we had to check out the new establishment. Wendy's mocha and my latte were both very good. And my cinnamon roll was really delicious. The only slight criticism was Wendy's scone, which was dry. However, the Coffee Cottage scones were absolutely legendary, and any effort to live up to those is going to be very difficult. The new interior ambiance is very warm and pleasant, and the service was timely and very friendly. Kudos to the Lyrics Cafe for ringing back a very pleasant coffee experience to this location in Newberg! We will be back."

"As former GFU students who frequented the old Coffee Cottage, my husband and I had to drive down from Salem to check out the new Lyrics Cafe. Wow. They have done a fabulous, fabulous job. The place is cozy, but so much more open and filled with natural light. More seating and TWO bathrooms now instead of one (whoohoo!). Not to mention, we happened to meet the owner, Rob, while we were there and got to chat a bit with him. An awesome dude who has poured his heart into this project. The coffee was excellent, and the food was wonderful (I meant to take a picture but seriously ate it so fast I didn’t remember until after because it was so good). We had a cinnamon roll and the breakfast sandwich (the touch of aioli on the breakfast sandwich made it 10/10). If we weren’t moving out of state we would be making the drive from Salem to Newberg often for this cafe. COME TRY IT!"
