"I've loved coming here since I was a child. I loved feeding the ducks and seeing the different animals that would show up. It makes me so happy seeing the park still being maintained after all these years. Now, I get to bring my toddler daughter here who also loves seeing the animals and playing on the equipment."

"Our club came to pick up litter after the Mardi Gras festivities and I have to say that there was not as much as I thought there would be. Something good! The playground is really coming together after the city has stepped up to keep our city’s favorite park up to date. I’m excited to bring my kids back here to feed our favorite waterfowl. Remember not to feed bread to ducks and geese! It can get them incredibly sick. Peas, lettuce, berries, worms etc are best. Also, there are invasive nutria here but they are cute."

"The playground itself is nice, the broken equipment has been replaced with nice new structures. The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. There are a lot nutria rats which is kinda weird. Everyone calls them beavers haha."

"We had a good time out there but it was getting late so we had to get going. I'll know if you have any oatmeal at home some plain oatmeal or some greens or bird seed bring it with you to the duck pond okay I post it things they encourage you to take there to feed the birds. Also they do not have hand soap in the bathrooms The toilets are iffy then you work on that but also thankful they have a working toilet. You're going to want to wash your hands so try bringing some pants soap with you too be able to wash your hands at the toilet area. Beyond that there's plenty of places to sit relax read listen to the birds several different animals in the water is beautiful. Just don't forget to watch your children okay because it's easy to abduct the kid and seconds So do be careful. Also if you're not big into walking far distances but yet you want to go walk at the park and see all sorts of nice things along the way This is a good one to go to as well and you can stop and sit by the water. You could bring you a snack and favorite drink You have a picnic there several many things."

"I have loved the duck pond since I was a little girl. The ducks are so friendly. Great place area. Large overed patio area. Had a kid's birthday party here. Nice spot down by the water to sit & take pics."
