Founder Morris L. Jacobs, known for his determination and strength, opened the store after losing his dry goods retail operation in a flood. He quickly found success and expanded to Beaumont in 1929.

I was not pressured at all and didn't even feel like I was being "sold", no pitch just good service. He quickly sized the watch and I was in and out within 10-15 minutes.
