"hi my name is Jannis Normand Simmons, I am and have been a patient of Dr Mindy Bowie ,sense 2020 for BRCA 1 with a active mutating gene. Dr Bowie is the type of breast oncologist that make you feel like (at first) that she is so concern about your situation, speaks to you about double mastectomy , and so on. Upon many visit (appointments) I have told Dr Bowie I am just not ready for a double mastectomy. Well every sense I have mention this she NO LONG WANTS TO SEE ME, But I can see her nurse practitioner. Twice sense December 2023, the office has canceled my appointments telling me she is UNABLE to see me ,I will have to see her nurse practitioner. And I repeatedly I have reschedule TO SEE DR MINDY BOWIE. So my point is I am BRCA 1 WITH A ACTIVE MUTATING GENE , will not and I am not ready for my double mastectomy , AND I PAY $400+ a month for insurance and still I have to see a nurse practitioner. Seem to me if you can not do surgery on me then you want no part of seeing me. And Dr Bowie's videos she will tell you how you are her family... RIGHT..So tomorrow I will call again and tell her office I rather see a breast oncology WHO makes sacrifices to their patient , so they feel like the doctor cares about them and not the money.. thank you for your time, your truly , jannis normand simmons"
