"Nice doctor. But I never got my results back but they billed my insurance over $1600 for my lab work and wellness exam. They took their money but they couldn’t get back to me with my results. I tried to support her but I had to move on and find a new OBGYN. Like I said she’s really sweet and understanding but the communication is really bad and her employees are clueless and doesn’t follow up with their patients."

"In 2001 & 2004 Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Mathis was my angel! She delivered both my children which are now ages 16 & 18. Before delivering my children, during my office visits, Dr. Mathis would take the time to do thorough examinations to make sure my unborn at the time was developing appropriately. She would have candid conversations with me about my pregnancy and life in general. She would pass alone advice about whatever our topic of conversation was in a motherly manner. (And) sometimes she would even speak in a tone of deep compassion to ensure me that everything would be ok. Even though Dr. Mathis was a superstar to me during office visits, she became my angel in the hospital after delivery. She would sit bedside, wipe my tears, and, give me that motherly counsel as she provided a listening ear for as long as she could. I truly appreciate DR. MATHIS. Although she’s no longer in Huntsville, Alabama, I will never forget her. THE BEST OB/GYN EVER!"

"I love Dr. Mathis. However, due to her office staff, I am currently looking for another doctor. Since having her own office, every time I've gone there it has been a hassle to get any results for anything as well as RX refills. I don't think it is the doctor her self but I want my results in a timely manner. I shouldn't have to call multiple times and feel like I have to harass people months after my appointment because I didn't get a call back, letter, or anything regarding my appointment. I think that this alone is HIGHLY unprofessional. My theory is that she only has one permanent office staff and the rest are students. Although the one lady that I think is permanent is very nice, it is not enough. This is unfortunate because I do love the doctor but not the all around service."

"Dr. Mathis is the best GYN I have had. She is really nice and she knows her stuff. She makes you feel really comfortable. I went in to get a Implant removed from my arm and she was very patient and efficient in getting this done for me. If you are looking for a new place to go, even if it's just for an annual then this is definitely the doctor to see. I promise you won't be disappointed."
