Danneel Park + Playground

"Very nice clean place with soft astroturf surfaces for the kids and comfortable benches for parents/nannies. I was just on a long walk by myself) no kids and went into the fenced area for a short rest. Basically a perfect spot. There used to be lots more benches along the streets of New Orleans."

"I liked it bc it was fun for the kiddos (2 and a half and 16 months) BUT my only complaint is that they gates are open and it’s not fully I closed for the smaller park. Otherwise it’s great. Safety is my biggest concern."

"This playground could be a real neighborhood gem for families and children. But, sadly, it's not well maintained by NORD. It needs major work on the uneven, dangerous brick paths and the play structures need a serious pressure washing and cleaning. It's an easy fix but the city doesn't seem to care."

"Danneel is in a great spot and has a couple of playgrounds for different age groups- a 2-5 and a 5 and above. There is also a large grassy area for play that many people walk their dogs through. Pretty well shaded because of the trees. No potties."

"Nice playgrounds for young and older children and a large field. Pretty clean too. The small children playground is almost completely fenced in."
