"We checked in got our room assignment and left before uecking the room itself, since it was Christmas Eve and we were attending a party with family. When we returned to the room it was absolutely gross, the sheets were dirty, dirty, dirty. The pillows smells of body oder. We went to the front desk and checked out. We complained and they said the house keeper didn't come that day. So why assign us a room that didn't not get serviced????. We went next door and I called to be sure we got our fees returned to my card. Warning don't stay here. The Best Western was only $5 more and it was a lot nicer and included a decent breakfast. The sheets were clean and the room had been properly serviced."

"I stayed here a few nights ago. I did not request a non-smoking room, as I assumed this day and age all rooms were non-smoking unless you request otherwise. While our room was very large with a King sized bed and sofa, it wreaked horribly of cigarette smoke. They only charged me $17 for my Lab, which I almost found offensive after being in a room that smelled so bad. My house trained, well behaved, very clean Lab made no mess and left no odor, but the cigarette smell will linger forever. There were several places on the walls that appeared to have been poorly patched and painted over. The bathtub had been removed and a shower installed in it's place, but the tile work on the floor was very poorly done. In spite of all the cosmetic issues, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If I had not just driven 12 hours I would have asked for another room that didn't stink like smoke. And you could smell smoke all down the hall, which was very unpleasant. The ice machine was broken, which was also a bummer. My mom lives in the area so I asked her to stop by before we checked out and headed home to Austin. At exactly 11AM, the person that checked me in the night before was knocking on my door letting me know it was time to leave. I was finishing packing at that time and would have been out in 15 minutes. I get that checkout is 11AM, but in my 30+ years of renting hotel rooms, I've never had someone knock on my door at checkout and tell me to leave. AND they deactivated my room key card at exactly 11AM, which I got to find out the hard way when I came back to the room from taking some bags to the car and could not get back in. Then I had to track someone down to let me in to get the rest of my belongings. And because I felt so rushed to get out, I left my phone charger behind. This was my second stay, as I wanted to give them another chance, but this will be my last."

"Ac did not work correctly it better in the lobby at the front desk than it did in the room. Did not want to offer another room to or even half our money back. BUT IF YOU WALK OUT THERE FRONT DOOR LOOK RIGHT ACROSS THE HIGHWAY I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WESTERN TWELVE OAKS."

"Everything wrong: 1. no breakfast AS ADVERTISED. due to “Covid”- then don’t advertise it! They know what they’re doing. 2. elevator is broken. and I was on the second floor with a heavy suitcase. 3. hair dryer broken 4. tv broken 5. room was never cleaned during my 3 night stay besides bed made. mice droppings in corner of bathroom left there all three days!!! 6. ac barely worked! 7. construction dust everywhere- couches, floor, bathroom 8. worst construction ever. they must have hired the absolute cheapest contractor whose work will no doubt start falling apart in a few months 9. fitness room unavailable but advertised as well. 10. dishonest about the breakfast and fitness room- and not offer any type of refund for those- then had the gall to try to charge me for 4 nights when I checked out early on day 3 because I finished my work early and could not wait to get out of there. I had to ask them to please refund the extra day, which I felt I needed to do with just how awful the whole experience was."
