"I ordered 2 fruit platters to be delivered to the Silsbee Elementry School for a Valentine's Party. I called the day before to confirm the date, time and the location of the delivery. I was assured that they had all the information and the delivery would take place between 9 AM and 11 AM. On the 14th, Valentine's day, I was informed that they never delivered the platters. They did not call or inquire. When I called that afternoon, the assistant manager told me that the third party never picked up the platters. There was no third party to pick them up, they were to deliver them and I was charged for the delivery. Even tho they offered to refund my money. The valentines party was ruined for the little ones. They explained that they didn't understand what happened and plainly to see from the receipt it was to be delivered. I have shopped at Brookershire Bros for 30 years, trying to do most of my shopping locally all the while watching them slowly declining, taking name brands off the shelf and the fruits and vetables being of almost over ripe and the quality decline. I am done with this facility in Silsbee. I will go to the BBS in Lumberton to do my shopping going forward. They seem to have pride and value in what they put on the shelf. J Burks"

"Good size parking lot, small grocery store for items one forgets or needs in a lunch. Prices are much higher than the larger chains. But the convenience is nice."
"I really don't go to Brookshire to often. Mainly when I want to pick up a few things in a hurry. The service is always friendly and the store is kept real clean. And I usually get in and out pretty quickly."
