The Shed

"This place is HORRIBLE. I went because I saw an ad on Facebook for $1 sale, but there were just maybe a few clothes and some junk for $1 and everything else was way overpriced for a thrift store. I found 2 articles of clothing (which I got home and they ended up being too small) and a sub for my boyfriend. I asked the owner how I knew it worked and she told me they test everything and if it didn't that I could bring it back before close at 7pm. I got it home and my boyfriend realized it was missing the speakers it required to work (he wasn't with me when I bought it), so we brought it back and she refused to take it back saying she sold the speakers that went with it previously to someone and that we could just find something else the same price in the store if we didn't want the sub. After the way she spoke to us and argued and insulted us basically, we just wanted the refund we were promised and to be done with it. She refused, but we didn't budge and FINALLY she gave us the refund. She just kept saying it was a thrift store and she didn't have to ask if we had the speakers that went with it already or not and would not stop arguing trying to justify being dishonest with us. I have the convo recorded to let people hear how unprofessional she was and how they are just scamming people. I would NOT recommend going here. You may not get what you think and have to deal with dishonest people. We will not be returning... EDIT: Yes, they originally did refund me in cash but then came running to my car saying it was back on my card and showed me the receipt saying it had gone through - so I gave the cash back since it said pending in my account. When the refund still wasn't back in my account within a few days I filed for a dispute along with another fraud transaction that appeared on my account randomly (where my account was drained to negative - and was so obviously fraud that the bank didn’t hesitate to do what they could to help me) and then I suddenly had the refund back a few days after that, but yes the bank still approved the dispute ($35ish) before I could cancel anything. Not my fault they wanted to be dishonest and are STILL lying. I have almost the whole conversation recorded on my phone that proves how dishonest they were..."

"I will never shop here. The place is so disorganized. Reminded me of a Mexican flea market. Actually, I've been to Mexican flea markets that are more organized than this place. I wish there was a way to give 0 stars."
