West End Dental/Eliot D. Guerin, DDS

"Dr. Guerin was my dentist when I was a child, way back when he was on the westbank. He'd still be my dentist if I lived in the area. He was always so gentle and caring. Because of him and his staff I was never afraid to go to the dentist I remember when my mother used to take me and my sibling and we'd have the same appointment times and I'd volunteer to go into the other room/chair alone so she could be with my brother to comfort him because I always felt safe with Dr. Guerin and his staff. I'm 37 now (havent been to Dr. Guerin in probably 20 years) and I just wanted to write this review to say thank you for setting me up with a good view of the dentist (a lot of my peers do not have the same feelings about dentists that I have. They've got horror stories!)I sum it up to having an amazing childhood dentist. And yes, I did have plenty of work done by Dr. Guerin. All of my fillings have held up great! So to you and your staff from back in the 90's THANK YOU GUYS!!!"

"THOROUGH EXCELLENCE!!! Dr. Guerin is just great. I have been to two other dentists since I moved to New Orleans and they sucked, they rushed me, one never showed up (Charvay--crappiest ever--on Vets. Purposely misspelling the last name). Dr. Guerin spent his time to get every stain and polish every tooth. He buffed the back side of a filling to ensure it doesn't loosen and that my tongue is comfortable. He was just thorough. His office manager, Pam, is a doll. I want her to be my Aunt, she is so sweet, accommodating, and personable. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I left feeling like my teeth had never looked better. My partner said all the same things (his appointment was a day later)."

"A very thorough dentist who takes time to help you understand more about your dental health. He does everything himself, including the cleaning, which is nice. Appointments are scheduled with plenty of time in between for proper cleaning and sanitization. Pam and Dr. Guerin are very friendly as well. I'm definitely going back here for my next cleaning/exam."

"Dr. Guerin is very nice, and educative. He takes the time to explain patients condition and options. He is personable, friendly, and accessible. The only reason I give 2 starts is for lack of staff, and as a result I don't feel it is sanitary for the patient. Without an assistant Dr. Guerin touched my mouth, his pen, his keyboard, frequently took off his glasses, then back to my mouth. The field of Dentistry should not be a one stop shop with one professional doing everything. It caused me high anxiety from germs."

"Dr. Guerin is a great dentist and also very personable. Scheduling has always been a breeze and I've never had to wait once I arrived for my appointment. He is very thorough in his explanations/cleanings and happy to answer any questions you have about your teeth, without making you feel rushed. The office is also very clean and comfortable. I would certainly recommend him to family and friends, or anyone looking for a dentist!"
