"I LOVE this place ! It's a quInt little spot in Gretna.... Family owned and operated.... Been around for a long time and I don't see them going anywhere .... EVER ! LoL There's video poker and a great jukebox and they are always cooking ! The people are great and they even have some unique alcohol surprises!!! Do yourself a favor and absolutely ..... "I am not a bar enthusiast but occasionally get to one for special events such as the Red Knights Poker Run. Plaisance is a nice clean neighborhood bar. Bar staff friendly, and good at keeping the customers entertained with conversations. Before the Red Knights arrived, most patrons seemed to be regulars as they all knew each other's names. Yet within minutes I felt like I was one of the regulars also. The people (customers) no matter how well the staff and place is can make or break a bar to new comers. This one makes it thanks to the lead of the Bar Staff in setting the tone. Friendly, not overly smokey, friendly, friendly, friendly!!!"
