"My 1st time to Five Below and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a large selection of affordable "luxuries", such as cool electronics, toys, sporst, health and fitness products. There's a lil bit of everything for just about anyone, although children would probably get the most out of a visit. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I made a comment, to a staff member, that it would be a great reward field trip for kids. And she replied, schools, parks/playgrounds and even the J.P. Sheriff's Office and Gretna Police buy stuff in bulk for children for various reasons because its good quality for great prices. Note: Although the chain got its fame and glory from items $5 and below it also has items above $5 in the "Beyond Section" but prices are still lower than retail elsewhere"
"The employees at this store are amazing but they definitely need a new manager or he needs to be retrained on how to speak to employees. While my partner and I were in the store, a woman greeted a customer that walked in. The manager did not hear her and began yelling at all of the employees, in front of the entire store. This was extremely unprofessional. Regardless of whether they greeted someone or not, no one deserves to be screamed at the way this man yelled at the employees. The entire store was silent after this happened. This was not a great experience."
