The Tree Restaurant Bar and Grill

"We went to the tree tonight, and were promptly seated, however being seated was the fastest thing of the night. Our server Mia, although kind took an extremely long time for everything. Not sure if she was overwhelmed but drinks, appetizer, ordering our food took FOREVER. We ordered a burger & I had a steak. Both were good, however I requested my steak medium and it was extremely rare. I had to send it back, which took almost 10 minutes for her to come back to tell her there was an issue plus more waiting on me for it to be cooked again. Once it was corrected, the food was great! My husband enjoyed his burger and the steak was good, and so were the sides! The biggest issue was waiting for our check, it took almost 30 minutes for her to bring it to us, then another 10 of waiting for her to come back and process it. Needless to say, if we do come back we will definitely choose a different server who can handle the fast paced environment or choose a less busy night."

"We had great food & service but what we ordered came with a regular side & we wanted to upgrade to a better side. On the menu it was $1 more , so we ordered & when we got our bill it seemed high so I looked it over, we were charged $6 each extra for our sides. No simple upgrade charge like every other restaurant Ive ever eaten at does. When I questioned the waitress she said that’s how they charge. We weren’t told of this & feel totally ripped off!!! We won’t bother eating there again. What a waste of time & money. Lumberton can do better. We try to support local but this is unacceptable in every way. At least let us know & maybe give us our regular side that we already paid for plus the expensive upgrade. We are very disappointed in the service there."

"Great food and service. The filet was incredible. For 2 adults and 4 children the bill was $286 before tip. A little pricey but overall worth it. Definitely more of a date night feel, rather than bring the family. Can't wait to go back!"

"This place was fantastic! Food was delicious, service was excellent and atmosphere was wonderful. We aren’t local, but it was the best place we ate the entire week we were in town. Definitely a must if you’re looking to eat somewhere in Lumberton!"

"This was my first time visiting The Tree. We went with coupe of friend to try it out. We were not disappointed at all. Steak was so tender. Bread pudding and creme brûlée were very good. Service and food were outstanding. We will be returning soon, with more friends and family. This is our new favorite spot in SETX."
