"My husband and I tried this place for the first time last night, and it was phenomenal. We were definitely underdressed; this place is pretty fancy, but our server stated that the atmosphere is a little more relaxed if you eat in the bar area (we will definitely do this next time). Everything we ate was a 10/10. We look forward to going back and trying more of their dishes. Highly recommend eating here if you’re not on a budget."

"What a surprise in Marshall, Texas! The restaurant itself was so interesting with so many old world details, keeping it original. The food was fabulous as well. From the Caesar salad to crab cakes to red snapper and lamb! If you are in town, do yourself a favor and check out Ginocchio's!"

"We really had a great experience here. It was a great choice for a team dinner. Great selection of drinks and you need to check out the bar and its history. The food was prepared as ordered and well presented to each of us. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was top notch and the staff was attentive and took great care of us. The fish was cooked just right and the rack of lamb was outstanding. This is a special occasion place and lots to check out in historic downtown Marshall as well."

"Stopped here on way from Louisiana back into Texas for work. Super charming historical restaurant across the tracks from the train depot. The look and feel says upscale dining; the food was less so. The fettuccine went well with the shrimp I ordered but was very basic. I was expecting something truly unique and savory but didn’t get it. Next time I will try the piccata. It was my first choice but the waitress recommended other items. The service was respectable, as was the atmosphere, which is why I’m giving it 5 stars. I would give this place another try, though. I enjoyed my time!"

"Food was excellent! We had amaretto sours, the chicken piccata, red snapper, potatoes, seasonal veggies, crab claws, and cheesecake. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. The historical aspects of the building were thankfully kept. Rare curled pine is seen throughout the building. Owner encouraged us to have a look around. Right next to the Amtrak station but you’re not disturbed by the trains. We will be back!"
