"It's a bar. It has bar food. However. I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the outdoor seating was. The service was good. I don't live on the Westbank but it was a cool spot to hear live music and have some drinks with friends. The food was good too."
"Amazing place! A hidden gem in New Orleans (Old Gretna) Happy hour is from 4-7 every day with select drinks to choose from at heavily discounted prices (bought 3 beers and a rum shot for $12), plus brunch specials on Sat and sun! Staff was attentive (it was a little empty when I went) but she was very nice! And their food was great! Definitely recommend the fried pickles as an app and their burger. Will be going back to try other things on the menu!"
"I would give this place a 7/10 the food was alright, service was great and the atmosphere was nice. I went here for brunch and the menu is pretty limited. There are only a few items listed but they do have options for those that don’t eat beef or pork which I appreciate. I ordered the Rise N Shine and it came with fried chicken (you can pick your meat), cheese grits and eggs. Everything tasted good but nothing really stood out to me. I also ordered a pitcher of pineapple mimosa for the table which was delicious. You can order different flavors for your pitcher. There is a lot of space at this restaurant you can sit inside, on the patio, or up on the balcony. We had a great waitress who was very nice and accommodating. The service was really great we didn’t have to wait to be seated, our food came out quick and hot, and staff was very helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to others. You should note it is in Downtown Gretna so parking could be a problem."
"Waited an hour for our tables. We split our party of 16 into 2 separate tables, so we could get faster service. All of us ordered at the same time. By the time the 1st table was finishing up their meals, the 2nd table was served. We waited over an hour for our food. The food was good, as it typically is and also the service was good."
"My family and I went to the River Shack and Gretna for lunch. The food was pretty good! My wife enjoyed her buffalo chicken wrap. I was craving French toast and enjoyed my dish. The reason for 3 stars was the service. We were sat promptly but forgot about by our waiter. After our order was placed our appetizer never arrived before our main."
