"While I do enjoy fancy restaurants sometimes when dining with business partners, in private I prefer the casual places. And since I was only passing through NOLA, I was looking for a place close to my hotel but with take out and was glad that I found this place. I had the rice & chicken (which was delicious!) for a fair price."
"One of the best pop ups in New Orleans if not straight up best restaurants. The feta bites are out of this world and the chicken over rice is some of the best you'll find outside NYC (but in the USA). The owner is also super friendly and always has cool specials. New Orleans is a food city but it's worth saving some stomach space for catawampus."

"Truly incredible, must go for anyone in New Orleans. Young talented chef doing simple but inventive takes on classic street food. Chicken and rice is so so delicious - best ever really. Really good vegetarian options available too - loved the cauliflower roti special and the feta cheese bites. We went with a group of people spanning generations and everyone was blown away by the quality, dynamic flavors and atmosphere of the whole joint. I was here for 4 days, ate everywhere and this was the best. Thank you !!"
