"Food is great but the price of a single steak Taco has gone up to 7 bucks! It used to be like 4 bucks a couple years ago. Still if you can afford it, it's easily one of the best Mexican spots in Nola."

"We had a really nice meal at the restaurant. Margaritas were strong and nice. Food was amazing especially the tacos. Ceviche was to die for. We definitely recommend if you are in the area."

"Fajitas were absolutely delicious. The steak was melt in your mouth delicious and the shrimp were huge. Seasonings and flavors were superb...Margaritas were exceptional. Service was great from everyone we encountered. Definitely highly recommend. A little pricey, but worth every dollar, so I don't recommend for younger children."

"Very cute place with good food. This is not the typical Mexican food. For example, the Mexican rice is riddled with corn and green peas and is flavorful and is part of most entrees, as is the beans. The latter not just refried beans, but hole beans in there natural creamy sauce. I ordered the tri enchiladas: 2 chicken one cheese and all of them were very tasty. The red salsa sauce, however, that accompanies the dish in a separate metal gravy boat was a bit too sweet. The house salsa and chips were very good; chips nice and crispy and fresh. I also ordered the El Gato soup, which is a take on charro soup, was chucked full of tender pulled pork and was very hearty- actually too filling."

"Everything from the service to the food to the outside courtyard was amazing. The stuffed avocado appetizer topped any food I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant all over the country. The corn tortilla was handmade perfection. Even the chips and salsa stand out as exceptional. The mole covered burrito definitely hit that mole spot. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu. The courtyard was quiet and comfortable. No idea a busy neighborhood was just over the wall. The waiter was busy but seemed to show up exactly when we needed her. She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu."
