"To be perfectly honest it looks a bit sketchy upon entry, but please do yourself a favor and be seated. Your taste buds will definitely thank you later. The food is that of top tier 5 star dining. I have not one complaint. I literally had talk myself out of flying back to NOLA the following weekend for more of their chargrilled crabs and oysters. The staff was extremely welcoming and the crowd of patrons was really diverse."
"So we were visiting NOLA and this place was recommended by one of our Lyft drivers. This place is located out of the way of where we were staying and frequenting but wanted to try something outside of the tourist area, thinking that it would potentially taste better and be of better value. We ordered the oysters and Dungeness crab and we had some hush puppies. The oysters (original charbroiled) were delicious. I normally don’t like hush puppies but they’re definitely good here. I also hate to say it but we were pretty disappointed with the crab legs. We know seafood is expensive and we’re not afraid to put our money where the flavor and the value is, but this place just wasn’t it. This plate of skimped crab was ($30). Literally the smallest pieces of Dungeness crab ever. Customer service was friendly and the atmosphere was really basic. Overall, even though everything tasted pretty good, we felt that the value wasn’t there. For us, it wasn’t worth going out of our way for."
