"A friend had recommended Rizzutos so we decided to check it out for dinner. Overall, decent ambiance and large/generous portion of food. The flavor was a bit average and the service was below average We started off with the chopped salad and the truffle fries both were good. we then got the veal parmesan, seafood cannelloni, chicken marsala and caprese salads. each portion size was huge in that two or three individuals could eat from one plate. the flavors were all were average with the cannelloni and marsala the better out of the options. overall, we've had better flavored italian food at other places, and the service was better. But Rizzutos has a good ambiance and provides generous portions"
"Went for my Birthday dinner and this is my new FAVORITE Italian restaurant! Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and fantastic menu! I had the Bruciuluni and my husband had the Seafood Lasagna, which were both stand-out dishes! The red gravy is the best I have ever tasted! Impressive wine menu with some great Italian wine choices. The pricing is very reasonable. We can’t wait to go back!!! Very safe area, still New Orleans but tucked into a Lakeview neighborhood."
