"Could use a little clean up in there. Some unique gift ideas. Different kinds of odds and ends in there."

"Walking into this place feels like I just stumbled into the 1920s. This has to be the oldest store in Southeast Texas that is still in business. They have cast iron pots and other items you cannot find anywhere else and that is built to last decades, plus plenty of feed as well too to accommodate thousands of farm animals. They have no air conditioning, but this is still the best and friendliest place to shop."

"Super friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. Definitely a store you walk into and go back in time a bit which I absolutely adore. Be sure to ask about the old phone! That's a great story and it's still there and still working"

"You want to take a look back in time just walk on in. My dad always bought his seeds for our garden here in the early 70's and we used a mule back then to work our garden. One day I got the bright idea to hook my horse up to the plow to side dress the peas, potatoes, etc. Everything went smooth until our black mouth yellow cur dog spooked the horse and I tore about two rows of corn up. My dad was at work and I was very worried about getting in trouble for it but he just laughed it off and reminded to tie the dog up next time. Lesson learned."

"Always like going here. Like stepping back in time. Spent many days in this area growing up. The people are nice, friendly, and helpful. Little on the expensive side though."
