Reviews
"Great park by Lake Union. This park is relatively new in the area. - Great spot for sunset - Nice vibe on sunny days, people are having picnic, reading books, eating food, launching their paddleboards, or swimming. - There is paddleboard renting place nearby - You can also watch floating houses right across the lake"
"A great place to calm and enjoy the view! Kids (and dogs!) are having fun in the bay. There are some street parking along the way. I really love visiting here. There are some chairs on the deck so that you can take a seat and draw or journal. I tried to go picnicking there, but bees often come to the food or me, which is quite scary for me, so I am not sure if it is a good choice to picnic there if you don’t like bugs."
"This is a great area to walk your dog and/or sit on one of the bright yellow chairs and look out at the water on a clear day. I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend spreading out a blanket or sit in the grass due to the amount of bird droppings, but overall, it's a beautiful area. On weekends, it tends to be a bit crowded with a lot of families so I would recommend visiting during the week to enjoy a more relaxing atmosphere."
"This pretty little park is north of lake Union and affords some interesting views. You can see the I5 bridge and University bridge. There are plenty of chairs to sit on and enjoy the lake. It is a place you can stop by with some coffee or tea. On a sunny day, you can chill out here. There are boat launch ramps too. Stop by here to enjoy the northern part of Portage Bay!"
