"Our Bulldog is groomed very professionally and treated like she part of the groomers family."
"I have taken my dog to other Petco grooming locations and they were great, but when I brought my dog in for a simple nail grind at this location on 12/30/2023 at about 3:30pm, I informed the groomer Erika D. that my dog could not be put up on the table (for multiple reasons, including that the dog will jump off the platform with the neck holder on) and that she would have to have her nails grinded while laying on the floor. She did not tell me this would be an issue. After I left the groomer attempted to pick up my dog to put her on the table, causing her distress and to yelp/cry very loudly. The groomer then called me back into the salon to take my dog back and said that they could not do a nail grind because she HAD to be up on the platform and that the nail grind could not happen today because of how upset the dog was after the pick up attempt. I am very disappointed that this groomer has not been trained on how to handle dogs appropriately who are unable to be picked up and have anxiety and that she dismissed my telling her that my dog could not be up on the table. Thank goodness I hadn't paid for the services yet."
