"It's easy accessible from the Historic Columbia River Highway. Very photogenic, especially in fall colors. There's .5 mile short hike on paved trail to the overlook. Trail keeps going higher.. it's my personal favorite ;-)"

"The Wahkeena Falls Picnic area is pretty nice. There are parking spots up on the street and a lot down in the picnic area. There are bathrooms, plenty of tables, and a pavilion. The hike up to the falls is steep but only a ~1/4 mile. We did the Wahkeena Falls Loop to Devils Rest, which is pretty challenging and very overgrown the higher up you get. AllTrails app said it's about 6.6 miles, but I got 8 miles. Be prepared with plenty of water and snacks, both packed for your hike and in your car for afterwards."

"This is a short but steep hike to see the falls. The trail was well maintained and easily accessible from the parking lot. There is a trail to the left as you face the falls, which leads to Multnomah Falls. Take the trail on the right to see Wahkeena Falls. There is no cell service in this area. There is a small rest area with picnic tables and a restroom near the parking lot. During the busy season, I'd recommend going early to ensure you find a parking spot. It's a beautiful hike and worth the stop."

"Excellent hike up from Wahkeena Falls trailhead ending at Multnomah Falls. The total hike is just over 5 miles. This is definitely not a beginners hike as the climb is quite steep and challenging. The trail is in good shape and offers some excellent views of both cascading waterfalls and peek-a-boo views of the Columbia River. Plan for at least three hours, so pack water and a snack and wear good, comfortable shoes. Trail is dog friendly, so bring your furry friend if they are younger and in shape! Parking at Wahkeena Falls day use area was reasonable as long as you arrive fairly early in the morning. On a nice day after 9am it gets very constrained and you may need to catch the shuttle from the Bridal Veil exit."
